William L.
Roemer, M.Div.
President
Bill is an
experienced recruitment executive. In
addition to Bill’s nonprofit experience,
he has an extensive for-profit business
background that includes the recruitment and
training of business management personnel.
Bill formerly served as Senior Vice
President of a national recruiting firm that
specialized in the placement of senior
nonprofit executives.
Bill is also an ordained
Presbyterian (USA) minister. He has served
in ministry for more than 25 years,
including 16 years as a pastor, where he had
been very successful in fundraising. He had
worked in his own consulting practice,
serving churches and nonprofit organizations
in strategic planning, board and leadership
development, feasibility studies, and
fundraising. Bill is an active minister
member of Pittsburgh Presbytery and preaches
and teaches regularly by invitation. He also
chairs Pittsburgh Presbytery’s Stewardship
Ministry Team.
Bill’s
prior background in business management
includes being a corporate IT manager,
manager of a heavy manufacturing facility
with more than 800 employees, and manager of
corporate manufacturing services, which
included manufacturing engineering,
corporate production control, traffic, and
spare parts production control.
Bill is a
member of the Association for Healthcare
Philanthropy (AHP), Association of
Fundraising Professionals (AFP), The Council
for the Advancement and Support of Education
(CASE), and the National Committee on
Planned Giving (NCPG).
Bill received his
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from
Youngstown State University and his Master
of Divinity degree from Pittsburgh
Theological Seminary. He has attended many
continuing education events in management.
